Immunolocalisation of P. falciparum Cox17 in asexual parasites grown in vitro. Cox17 was detected using chicken anti-peptide antibodies specific for PF3D7_1025600 and showed cytoplasmic localisation in ring (A), trophozoite (B) and schizont (C) stages of development. Chicken antibodies were detected with an anti-chicken antibody conjugated to Cy3. Parasite DNA was stained with Hoechst. Scale bar is 5 μm.
