Indirect Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) was performed using anti-KAHRP antiserum. Representative IFAs are shown. KAHRP was detected in a classic punctuate pattern on the surface of trophozoites and schizonts. No labeling of KAHRP was detected in ring-iRBCs (data not shown). KARHP localizes to the RBC membrane.
