PF3D7_0105500 conserved Plasmodium protein, unknown function

Localization of proteins identified by proximity biotinylation. Immunofluorescence assays were conducted to observe the localization of selected putative mitochondrial proteins. Live parasites were stained with Mito-Tracker (red). Parasites were then fixed and stained with DAPI (blue) and anti-HA antibody (green). Images are representative of ~20 captured images. Scale bars denote 5μm. we observed clear mitochondrial localization for PF3D7_1237700, PF3D7_0707400, PF3D7_1437700, and PF3D7_0105500. PF3D7_0514900 did not localize with the mitochondrion but displayed punctate like staining throughout the parasite cytoplasm which was consistent with its low MitoProtII score
