PfSERA5 and PfCDPK1 co-localize in parasitophorous vacuole (PV) of P. falciparum schizonts. Confocal microscopy analysis of P. falciparum schizonts demonstrates that PfSERA5 and PfCDPK1 co-localize in the PV. PfCDPK1 is localized to the parasitophorous vacuole (PV) of P. falciparum-infected erythrocytes similar to the localization observed for PfSERA5. Colocalization studies using immunofluorescence assays confirmed co-localization of PfSERA5 and PfCDPK1 in the PV of schizonts.
