Immunofluorescence microscopy of the intracellular distribution of PFGCN20 in P. falciparum (FAC8) infected erythrocytes. Smears of erythrocytic cultures were fixed, permeabilized and probed with AF43 at a dilution of 1:100. Bound AF43 were visualized with anti-rabbit IgG-FITC secondary antibodies. A: Red blood cell infected by single ring-stage parasite. B: Red blood cell infected with three ring-stage parasites. C: Late ring stage. D, E: Trophozoite to early schizont stages. F: Late schizont stage. Bar corresponds to 2.5 mm.
