Organelle labelling and immunostaining of PfPSS-GFP parasites establish that the

Figure 2 parasites at different developmental stages, imuno-stained with antibodies against ER marker protein BiP. The PfPSS-GFP was found to be colocalized with the BiP staining at all the stages of the parasite asexual life cycle. (B) Fluorescence confocal microscopy images of PfPSS-GFP transgenic line: (i) immuno-stained with antibody against apicoplast resident protein PfClpP; (ii) immuno-stained with antibody against Cis-Golgi marker protein PfGRASP; and (iii) labelled with live fluorescent mitochondria dye MitoTracker Red. Parasite nuclei were stained with DAPI. The PfPSS-GFP localization was found to be distinct from all the three labelled organelles of parasite.
