PfPARE is expressed in asexual parasites. Live fluorescence microscopy with GFP-tagged PfPARE shows the protein is in the cytoplasm. Scale bar 5 mm. The intensity of the GFP fluorescence was weak in ring stages and increased with parasite maturity.
