Effect of downregulation of PfUSP on development of parasite endoplasmic

reticulum. Fluorescent microscope images of PfUSP transgenic parasites immuno-stained with anti-HA and anti-BiP antibody at different time points (30-42 h) in control and iKD sets. Parasites in PfUSP-iKD set showed disrupted development of ER having punctuated/fragmented morphology as compared to control set which showed continuous peri-nuclear ER. The parasite nuclei were stained with DAPI (blue) and parasites were visualized by confocal laser scanning microscope.
