PF3D7_1347700 ethanolamine-phosphate cytidylyltransferase

Cellular localization of ECT in Plasmodium falciparum. Immunoflurorescence assays were done on human blood cells infected by P. falciparum 3D7 strain and revealed by anti-PfECT (red). Nuclei were stained in blue with DAPI. Differential interference contrast (DIC) images and merges are presented. The signal of the PfECT anti-sera was detected at all parasite stages showing a diffuse and dotted pattern. These data suggested that PfECT is present in the cytoplasm.
