Immunofluorescence assays were done on human red blood cells infected by P. falciparum 3D7 strain and revealed by anti-PfCK. Nuclei were stained in blue with DAPI. Differential interference contrast (DIC) images and merges are presented. Three representative parasitic stages are shown: ring, mature trophozoite and schizont. The antibody was seen to be spread throughout the parasite cytoplasm.
