PF3D7_1413500 ABC transporter I family member 1 FeS assembly ATPase SufC

Plasmodium falciparum PfSufC is targeted to the apicoplast and may be peripherally membrane-associated. (A) Immunofluorescence localisation of SufC in the Plasmodium falciparum D10 ACPleader-GFP line. SufC signal (red, a), GFP (green, b) and their overlap (c) in two trophozoite examples. Parasite nuclei stained with DAPI (d), and the overall merged figure with the phase contrast scan (e) are shown. The signals obtained for a mitochondrial marker (MitoTracker Deep Red, a), SufC (green, b) and nucleus (blue, d). SufC was not localised to the mitochondrion.
