PF3D7_0915400 ATP-dependent 6-phosphofructokinase

(D) Immunofluorescence assay of fixed P. falciparum asexual rings (R), trophozoites (T), schizonts (S) and secondary antibody control (C). Each panel shows identical fields stained with DAPI (a), anti-PfPFKb mAb 2F4G10 supernatant (b) and a merge of the two (c). The control panel (C) shows P. falciparum rings stained with DAPI (a) and the secondary antibody (b). PFK was localised mainly in the cytoplasm, no staining was observed in the nucleus. In several stages, especially in the trophozoite stages, punctate staining was observed, suggesting the presence of particulate complexes.
