CK2α-GFP cKO parasite line, we investigated the expression and localisation of PfCK2α-GFP during gametocytogenesis on a single cell level by live cell fluorescence imaging. Indeed, we observed PfCK2α-GFP expression throughout gametocyte maturation in all five stages in both the nuclear and cytoplasmic compartments of the parasite.
